VP of Delivery
VP of Delivery, Humanoid Robotics
London, on-site | Reports to the CEO | Highly competitive package
Most humanoid companies are still demoing. This one needs someone to get robots working inside customer sites, at scale, and to build the team that does it.
The company
A London-based humanoid robotics company building general-purpose humanoids for real commercial and industrial work. It's well funded, moving fast and has customers waiting, so the challenge now isn't whether the robots can do the job, it's getting them deployed, accepted and running day after day in the field.
The role
You'll report straight into the CEO and own delivery end to end, from the first scoping conversation with a customer through to fleets running in live operations. It's a build role as much as a leadership one: the playbook doesn't exist yet and you'll be the person who writes it.
What you'll own
- End-to-end delivery of customer deployments, from pilot scoping and site readiness through integration, acceptance and scale-up.
- Building and leading the delivery function, including deployment engineers, programme managers and field support.
- The delivery playbook: timelines, risk, acceptance criteria and service levels that customers can actually rely on.
- The feedback loop between the field and engineering, so what's learned on site shapes the next version of the robot.
- Senior customer relationships, keeping commercial commitments and technical reality in step.
What you'll bring
- A track record delivering complex hardware or automation programmes into customer environments, ideally robotics, AMRs, industrial automation or autonomous vehicles.
- Experience building and leading delivery or deployment teams, not just running projects.
- Comfort in front of exec-level customers and the judgement to say no when a commitment doesn't hold up.
- Startup pace and a bias for getting things done with incomplete information.
Why this one
This is one of the hires that decides whether humanoids become a real industry or stay a showreel. You'll be shaping that from the exec table, with a direct line to the CEO and the backing to build the function properly.
