Fraudsters sometimes impersonate Akkar with fake job offers via email, WhatsApp, Telegram, and social media. Here is how to know you are dealing with the real Akkar.
Akkar will never
• Charge you money. No placement fees, visafees, training fees, equipment costs, or deposits. Our clients pay us, never you.
• Ask for bank details before a genuine, documented offer, and then only to arrange payroll.
• Offer you a job without an interview with Akkar or our client.
• Email you from anything other than an@akkar.com address. We do not recruit via Gmail, Outlook.com, or similar.
• Pressure you for an instant decision orpayment to "hold" a role.
Verify and report
To check a message is genuine, call +44 207 993 8755 or email contact@akkar.com with the sender's name, or check them against our LinkedIn page (https://www.linkedin.com/company/akkar-ltd). Do not click links or open attachments until verified.
If you have been targeted, report it to us and to your localauthorities: in the UK, Action Fraud (actionfraud.police.uk, 0300 123 2040); inthe US, the FTC (reportfraud.ftc.gov). If you have sent money, contact your bank immediately.
Akkar accepts no liability for losses caused bythird parties impersonating us, but we take every report seriously and pursue takedowns of fraudulent accounts.
