Fraudsters sometimes impersonate Akkar with fake job offers viaemail, WhatsApp, Telegram, and social media. Here is how to know you aredealing with the real Akkar.
Akkar will never
• Charge you money. No placement fees, visafees, training fees, equipment costs, or deposits. Our clients pay us, neveryou.
• Ask for bank details before a genuine,documented offer, and then only to arrange payroll.
• Offer you a job without an interview withAkkar or our client.
• Email you from anything other than an@akkar.com address. We do not recruit via Gmail, Outlook.com, or similar.
• Pressure you for an instant decision orpayment to "hold" a role.
Verify and report
To check a message is genuine, call +44 207 993 8755 or emailcontact@akkar.com with the sender's name, or check them against our LinkedInpage (https://www.linkedin.com/company/akkar-ltd). Do not click links or openattachments until verified.
If you have been targeted, report it to us and to your localauthorities: in the UK, Action Fraud (actionfraud.police.uk, 0300 123 2040); inthe US, the FTC (reportfraud.ftc.gov). If you have sent money, contact yourbank immediately.
